| Aviation |
With a retired BA Pilot and a retired Air Traffic Controller
in the club we have always had up to date and accurate information on current aviation
events. It inevitably remains a frequent
subject. |
| Boating |
Several club members enjoy boating.
Terry owns "Dulcinea", a 27' Nauticus, plus a share in a
narrow boat.
Andy has "Amberel, a Viking 24, plus an inflatable tender. (The eagle eyed will note that the picture is
not a Viking 24, but a previous "Amberel, a Viking 26).
Rod has a boat on a trailer, but it's been out of the water for so long
that some of us suspect it will never get its bottom wet again.
Phil has a canoe.

At least two club members have an encyclopaedic knowledge of
films and TV. |
| Geocaching |
Andy enjoys geocaching. This is usually combined
with walking in some lovely parts of the UK and abroad, but also involves
some more extreme aspects such as caving, abseiling, climbing trees,
visiting islands, etc. |
| Photography |
Most of the members enjoy photography. Some take it very
seriously. |
| Railways |
Several members are railway and train enthusiasts,
especially steam. Here is Steve on the footplate of a locomotive. |
